Don't judge a book by its cover

Just recieved a lovly Thankyou card and a thorntons voucher from Mike, he's the man who we stopped and helped the other Saturday. He says he spent the night in hospital and has now made a full recovery. I am so glad Niall stopped, Mike did look drunk , he had fallen down the grass bank and when we spoke to him he was sluring his words, but it turns out he was in an anaphylactic shock, and if we had not stopped we was told he would have croacked. Just goes to show you should not judge a book bt its cover!

Buttgate

Yes i know it was Dads Day yesterday, but my OH said he wanted to install my new waterbut. Well thats what i heard, not " s'pose i better fit that frigging butt, or the frizzy haired witch won't leave me alone" So off OH went into the garden for about 2mins, then decided he  needed a trip to a DIY store for something or another. I of couse went with him, thinking i'll grab a Cappuccino on the way home. Back home in the garden, the peace was broken by a barrage of profanitys." Whats the matter my sweet" i say the reply is too awful to write." I'm off to the DIY store" OH say's. " Sould i come with" i smile." NO "says OH" you just sit there watching TV, feet up, coffee in one hand and chocolate in other , I'll go alone." He was gone for some time............ Waterbutt is now installed and i am on my way to saving the planet! :)

That's rubbish, I just like to talk a lot - even if no one's listening! (Apart from the dog)

Bear with me, I'm just getting started and am being distracted by the thought of eating my (home made) banoffee pies at the moment! So maybe I'll write more tomorrow ;)
